Job Description
Team Lead AI, Computer Vision - OptiSol
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Team Lead to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions in machine learning, computer vision, and IoT domains. This role requires expertise in ML, Python, Computer Vision, hardware platforms (Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi), and cloud services. The ideal candidate will lead a team of talented engineers and researchers, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with the company s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Project Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality AI-driven solutions.
Technical Development:
- Develop and optimize machine learning and computer vision algorithms for applications such as object detection, segmentation, tracking, and recognition.
- Implement and deploy AI solutions on edge devices like Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, and other GPU hardware platforms.
- Explore and integrate emerging AI technologies and methodologies.
Hardware & IoT Integration:
- Design and prototype electronic systems for seamless integration of AI models.
- Configure edge devices for real-time applications, addressing hardware-software integration challenges.
- Optimize IoT systems for high performance and reliability.
Cloud & Deployment:
- Deploy and manage AI services on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Ensure secure and scalable deployment of AI solutions in cloud and hybrid environments.
Quality Assurance:
- Validate AI models and hardware integration through rigorous testing.
- Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, experiments, and outcomes.
- Adhere to industry standards and best practices in AI development and IoT integration.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education : Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science, ECE, or related fields.
- Programming : Expertise in Python and relevant ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
- AI Expertise : Strong understanding of neural networks, transfer learning, and optimization techniques.
- IoT Hardware : Proficiency with Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and related platforms.
- Protocols : Familiarity with RTSP, TCP, MQTT, Modbus, UART.
- Leadership : Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing projects.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with model quantization, multitask learning, and zero-shot fine-tuning.
- Knowledge of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and multimodal LLMs.
- Experience with API development (FastAPI, Django) and Android-based AI application development.
- Hands-on experience with industrial cameras, motor drivers, and Ethernet switches.
- Familiarity with CUDA programming and GPU optimization.
