Treasury Manager

Role Description

We are looking for a Treasury Manager who will lead the relationships with the companys banks/lenders, implement and manage cash forecasting models, ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements, secure financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, manage numerous impress and trust accounts, and support key controls by working closely with all Finance functions (Accounting, AP, AR, Tax, Payroll, FP&A, International Finance Staffs), other internal constituents (such as Procurement, Legal, Operations, IT), and external parties (particularly banking partners).

Responsibilities of the Treasury Manager

• Maintain banking relationships and identify opportunities to better utilize the organizations bank services and other financial institutions, such as negotiating banking services, fees, and agreements.
• Maintain and update treasury management systems and software. Develop and maintain treasury policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Streamline and improve treasury operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Overseeing daily cash operations, including monitoring cash balances, managing cash positions, cash forecasting and determining the accuracy of cash reporting.
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of accounting entries in the areas of Fixed Assets, Journal entries and Bank and cash-related accounting. Thorough knowledge of Corporate and Financial Accounting.
• Responsible for the timely closure of monthly books and completion of multiple bank reconciliations.
• Monitor the bank guarantees from customers and issue timely intimations for renewals, support for the release of bank guarantees to customers.
• Track and report on operating/capital leases, credit line usage, and letters of credit.
• Partner with various teams to optimize the global banking and cash management structure and processes. In charge of trading FX transactions and IDPMS&EDPMS reports.
• Oversee the companys investment portfolio, including short-term investments. Conduct research and analysis on investment opportunities and good knowledge in corporate finance.
• Identify and assess financial risks related to liquidity, interest rates, and foreign exchange.
• Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Support annual audits by providing information and responses to auditors.
• Manage and accurately complete periodic bank exams and appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with bank-related documentation.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Treasury Manager

• Chartered Accountant with 5 years’ work experience or MBA Finance with 10 years of work experience or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of Corporate Treasury management experience.
• Manufacturing/product-based industry experience preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and knowledge of financial processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills with attention to detail and accuracy are required.
• Ability to work under pressure and show evidence of creative thinking as well as the ability to handle complex problems in a timely manner.
• Eagerness to learn and continuously improve processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
