Job Description
- Work with Product Management and other stakeholders on understanding Product Roadmap and work with the team to build and deliver the committed features in the product releases.
- Participates in long-range planning and is involved in the development of operational goals, as well as engineering specifications. Often plays a proactive role in developing and applying new approaches to engineering design and development. Participates in the modification, development and implementation of company practices and policies that affect subordinate employees.
- Works on issues where analysis of situation requires a good understanding of organizational objectives.
- Frequently interacts with direct reports, customers, managers and/or peer group managers. Communicates organizational and functional strategy and translates it into functional goals.
- Develops and provides challenging yet appropriate assignments, evaluates work, communicates progress toward career development and goals.
- Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs
- BA/BS or MS/MA/MBA in Computer Science or related field
- 15+ years of experience in Software Development & management
- Technical and analytical (problem solving) skills
- Written/Oral Communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of business environment.
- Presentation skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Technical Illustration.
- Mentoring/Coaching skills.
- Experience in developing products/applications in content management
- Expertise in building enterprise software
