Guidewire Developer (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).

- Implement and customize Guidewire Gosu code, configurations, and integrations.

- Develop and maintain Guidewire plugins, extensions, and web services.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Guidewire platform.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.

- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire releases and industry trends.

- Configure and manage Guidewire integration with external systems.

- Implement and maintain data models and database schemas within the Guidewire platform.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in Guidewire development.

- Strong proficiency in Guidewire Gosu programming language.

- Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite configuration and development.

- Understanding of insurance domain concepts and workflows.

- Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) and integration technologies.

- Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e., Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Skills :

- Guidewire certifications (e., ACE).

- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire deployments.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks for Guidewire.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
