Experience : 3-5 years

Location : Bangalore

Responsibilities :

- Reverse-engineer existing codebases to understand product functionality and business logic.

- Work with a running product, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance features.

- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Java & Scala.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to implement new features.

- Debug and resolve complex production issues with minimal supervision.

- Optimize performance and ensure system reliability for a high-traffic environment.

- Follow best practices for code quality, CI/CD, and software design patterns.

Requirements :

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java and Scala development.

- Strong expertise in reverse-engineering complex codebases.

- Solid understanding of functional programming and OOP principles.

- Experience working with existing, large-scale, and production-grade systems.

- Proficiency in Spring Boot, Akka, or Play framework.

- Strong database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases).

- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Redis, or other messaging systems (preferred).

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.

- Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize existing code.

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
