Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Lead to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying complex cloud-based solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS/Azure services, architecture best practices, and strong problem-solving skills to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud architecture and a proven track record of successful cloud implementations.

Required Skills

Cloud At least 6+ years in AWS cloud - mandatory, good to have Azure
Containerization 5+ years of hands-on experience in creating and deploying monolithic application and micro-services. Should have strong knowledge of microservice architecture applications Docker, Kubernetes
CI/CD At least 6 years of hands-on experience in any of the CICD tools AWS DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Helm charts or Codefresh
Automation Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in any of the CICD tools. Ansible, Terraform, CicleCI (Optional)
Migration services Should have knowledge and some experience in cloud migration projects
Monitoring alerting Good command over monitoring tools like Datadog, Zabbix, Elk, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Nagios, etc
Cost estimation Should have used TCO or any other method for cloud cost estimation
Scripting Python, Shell, PowerShell

Good to have

Security 2+ years of experience in security services (DevSecOps)
AI services Good to have knowledge and experience in Cloud AI services

Responsibilities

Communication
- Publish periodic reports that give updates and status to the business and to the client
- Report value addition caused by optimization activity on the internal / client s environment
- Responsible for timely communication of the right set of information during the release, downtime, maintenance outage etc. to right stakeholders
- To share the RCA for the incidents and solutions to avoid any further occurrence
- Document runbook for the incidents that do not have any fallback mechanism
Coordination
- Ensure to coordinate with other teams like the development team to help them with the release plan and execution
- Coordinate with the compliance team to enable them with the required documents and artifacts
Team Management
- Coach teams on technical, process and business aspects
- Conduct sessions with teams/team members on the PoC, technical advancements, practices, industry trends, security, compliance etc
- Guide and support team during the incidents
- Evaluate create progression plan for the team members
