Deputy Manager/Manager - Product PR

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR initiatives to enhance OnePlus' brand reputation, increase brand awareness, and drive positive media coverage across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with OnePlus India's business objectives and brand positioning.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure press coverage and feature opportunities.
• Proactively identify and capitalize on PR opportunities to generate positive media buzz and enhance brand visibility.
• Plan and execute press events, product launches, and media briefings to maximize media exposure and engagement.
• Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and PR materials to effectively communicate OnePlus' key messages, product launches, and brand initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify potential PR risks and opportunities, and develop timely responses to manage brand reputation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Sales, to ensure PR initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives and integrated into marketing campaigns.
• Track and analyze PR metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields, preferably within the technology or consumer electronics industry.
• Proven track record of successfully executing PR campaigns and securing media coverage across traditional and digital media channels.
• Strong media relations skills with established contacts in the tech, lifestyle, and business media landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and effectively communicate with media, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative PR strategies and adapt to changing market dynamics.
• Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
