Onclusive - Content Editor - News Research (2-4 yrs)

About the Role:

- Onclusive is seeking a highly skilled and experienced News Researcher and Content Editor to join our dynamic team.

- In this critical role, you will lead the analysis of news content across key global markets, providing valuable insights to our clients.

- You will be responsible for overseeing the research process, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities:

- Lead News Content Analysis: Oversee the research and analysis of news content across key global markets (US, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Ireland, etc. ) covering a wide range of sectors (foreign affairs, politics, economy, entertainment, etc.

- Manage the research and addition of content to the Onclusive database.

- Ensure the highest level of accuracy and consistency in data entry and analysis, adhering to strict quality control standards.

- Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific information needs and tailor research accordingly.

- Present research findings in a clear, concise, and insightful manner.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Mentor and guide junior team members on research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and best practices.

- Oversee the work of junior team members, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of team processes and workflows.

- Continuously monitor the evolving media landscape and identify emerging trends and technologies.

- Stay abreast of industry best practices and incorporate new knowledge into research methodologies.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, International Relations, Political Science, Communications, or a related field.

Master's Degree preferred.

- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in news research, content analysis, media monitoring, or a related field.
