Garment Quality Control and Technician

Graduate in Fashion Designing/ B.Tech Apparel & Textile. Apparel, Garment Manufacturing, and Sewing. Consumer Textiles, Garments all categories, Product Quality, Quality Assurance, Quality Auditing, Quality Control, and Trims (Clothing). Communication, Management, Manufacturing, Problem Solving, Product Develop. Setting quality standards for the factory basis production and garment requirements and setting up guidance for various departments and processes. Monitoring the quality of the product through the various stages of production. Auditing in-housed fabric and trims and ensuring only quality goods are accepted. Involvement in product development and sampling stage and take care of quality aspects of samples. Conducting daily pre-production meetings, mid line and final inspections as per brand s quality standard with proper check list records. Performing inline inspection, quality inline audits at needle point areas and checking the quality process and product deviation on production floor pre- final audit and final inspection in finishing department. Ensuring no faulty fabric is sent for cutting. If minor faults are present in the fabric, defects should be marked on the fabric and same thing must be communicated to cutting department. Displaying mock up at critical operation on stitching line to avoid the re-work, handling and damage the garments. Conducting audit of the packed goods prior to offering shipment to buyer QA. Preparing inspection summary reports, Quality training records, FPT & GPT tracking reports and FI consolidated reports. Also preparing improvement plans where required. Ensuring the right quality of the outward garment by conducting quality audits in the manufacturing process. Supervising and handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing the measurement, workmanship, fitting, accessories, etc., and giving comments on the production.
