QA Automation Engineer - Immediate Joiners Only

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for API and UI testing.
• Automate testing of Java applications and REST APIs to ensure functionality and performance.
• Automate web pages built on JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS to ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• Design, implement, and execute test cases using Selenium and Cucumber for comprehensive coverage.
• Conduct database testing using MySQL and Cassandra to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Utilize tools like JUnit, CURL, and Postman for effective testing and debugging.
• Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify test requirements and optimize workflows.
• Manage version control using Git or Bitbucket and track project progress and issues on Jira.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in API and UI test automation.
• Proficiency in Java-based test automation and REST API testing.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS for UI test automation.
• Experience with Selenium and Cucumber for creating and executing automated tests.
• Familiarity with MySQL and Cassandra databases for data validation and testing.
• Practical knowledge of testing tools like JUnit, CURL, and Postman.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket and project management tools like Jira.
• Exposure to Python for automation scripting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing tools.
