Position Description:


We are looking for a dynamic, professional and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to help us continue to scale our presence throughout Delhi and the NCR. You will report to both the Managing Director in India as well as the US based Founder of the company. To be successful in this role means you are achieving aggressive goals through prospecting, networking, referrals, and face to face meetings with clients and their stakeholders outside of the office. You will not be sitting at your desk all day. You will have to be presentable, customer focused, and have a professional manner, high attention to details, and possess excellent communication skills to earn their trust and respect.

Outside of business development activities and signing new clients, you will be expected to fully enable the success of the Recruitment team by helping your clients not only define their role descriptions or scope of their consulting needs but managing expectations on what is possible vs. the unicorns that are sometimes expected to exist. If you can consistently exceed your targets, you can expect rapid growth, unlimited commission, and support from management to help get you there.


Responsibilities:


  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, industry knowledge, current expertise, and existing contacts
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with existing clients to earn repeat business
  • Work with the MD and Founder to negotiate and execute exclusive, retainer, or consulting contracts with clients
  • Manage your pipeline and update our CRM daily
  • Provide excellent after sales support and feedback to our clients
  • Assist clients in formulating their expectation and contractual requirement in order for the appropriate candidates to be properly matched with their requested role(s)
  • Work together with our recruitment team to match the candidates to the appropriate profile, create a shortlist, and professionally present shortlisted candidates to the client

Requirements:


  • You are a well-organized self-starter with desire for success who can spot new opportunities and are driven by sales results
  • You have a proven record in business development in the Recruitment industry with 5-8 years of experience working with firms located in India with solid market knowledge
  • You are an excellent all-around listener and communicator who has solid written and verbal communication and negotiation skills as well as an ability to rapidly build rapport
  • You have strong time management, planning, and prioritization skills
  • You have proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • You are willing to have a flexible work schedule, working nights and weekends as needed to build your network and client pipeline
