Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications and services
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices and design patterns
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
• Debug production issues and implement fixes
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Optimize application performance and implement security measures
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional experience in Python development
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and related frameworks (React/FastAPI)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Proficiency in working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Strong proficiency with Git and GitHub, including:
• Branch management and protection policies
• Code review processes and pull request workflows
• Repository management and organization
• GitHub security best practices
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills

• AWS experience including:
• AWS Lambda and serverless architecture
• Amazon S3 and data storage solutions
• EC2 and container orchestration
• RDS and database management
• API Gateway and microservices
• CloudWatch monitoring and logging
• IAM and security best practices
• Cost optimization and resource management
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience with Python web scraping and data analysis libraries
