Review general ledger for the set of Vessels (approx. 25-30) being managed by Fleet Accountants To verify first level payment authorization for vessel accounts Perform quality checks to ensure financial data is properly authorised and coded by the relevant departments Perform quality check on all funding requests. Ensure sufficient funding of the vessel at all times to enable all commitments are settled within timelines Payment of purchase invoices, payroll and other creditors within the agreed payment terms and in line with V.Group policy Ensure all reports and requests are prepared for the client within the prescribed timetable Liaising with Vessel Financial Controller and other departments in order to provide explanation for Budget variances Supporting the Vessel Financial Controller with any other duties that may arise Provide trainings to New Hires Support TL s in performing administrative tasks and reviewing the Financial Statements Operating Cost, Balance Sheet, Funding requests, Cash Flow Daily, weekly etc Share best practices with other team members Work on Process Improvement projectsWhat can I expect in return V. Full Time Graduation in Commerce Minimum 5 years experience in Vessel Accounting Good Knowledge of MS office specially Excel Skills Excellent accounting knowledge Good English communications skills written and verbal.
