Kitchen Steward

Job Accountabilities:

• Check for FPs and announcements, notices if any.
• To ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition for day to day operations.
• Review FPs for the day.
• Set up of cooking stations when required.
• Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
• Assist Kitchen Supervisor / Senior Cooks / Cooks / Asst. Cooks as necessary.
• Dispose of waste and garbage from the kitchen.
• Ensure that all items are clean according to sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Store pick up ( dry stores ).
• Complete day-end dishwasher maintenance
• Clean all soiled items.
• Dispose of all broken items in the proper area.
• Remove trash and waste.
• Clean, sanitize and close workstations
• The primary purpose of the kitchen stewards is to ensure that the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times.
• To ensure that high of excellence in Kitchen Cleanliness is maintained in the Kitchen.
• To ensure that the kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, cutting and chopping boards are kept clean for operations.Role & responsibilities
