Position: Production Manager
Location: Mohali

CTC: Up to ₹15 LPA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee and optimize the end-to-end manufacturing process of consumer healthcare and medical-grade products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities -

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to meet customer and market demand
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery for cost-effective production.
• Implement and maintain robust quality control processes across all stages of production.
• Collaborate with the QA team to conduct audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Drive automation, digitization, and process innovations for scalable operations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage production teams to achieve departmental KPIs and business objectives.
• Promote a safe, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
• Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support uninterrupted operations.
• Prepare detailed reports on production metrics, quality outcomes, and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, procurement, and sales to align production with business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and effective manner.
  

Qualifications-

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
• 710 years of experience in production or plant management, ideally in the medical devices, consumer healthcare, or electronics manufacturing domain.
• Prior experience managing production lines for small appliances, wearables, or similar products is an advantage.
  

Skills and Competencies

• Deep understanding of production planning, quality standards (ISO, GMP), and regulatory compliance.
• Strong command over lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
