Who we are
The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalorestartup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section-8 not-for-profit entity. NSRCELmission is to support ventures in the start-up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1106 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns in the country.
NSRCEL is supported by many government partners, some of them are Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and foundations like Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation. NSRCEL has partnered with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Maruti Suzuki among others to support idea stage and early-revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate-tech, women entrepreneurship,and social impact.
What you will be doing
You will drive NSRCELfund raising efforts and revenue streams from donors and partners.
Own the fund-raising strategy and implementation, across Government, CSR, corporate innovation, foundations, and philanthropy
Execute fundraising activities including identifying target partners, initiating contact, pitch presentations and proposals, and negotiating partnership agreements.
Exploring and executing new fundraising avenues
Implement an engagement strategy to build deeper relationships with funding partners and prospects at executive leadership level.
Own donor relationships, lead donor reviews and manage donor reporting, working with finance and program teams.
Ensure all fiduciary, tax, reporting and governance compliance with donors partners
Collaborate closely with program, marketing, and finance teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals and drive cohesive partner engagement.
Lead and manage the fundraising team, providing mentorship, setting clear goals, and building strong processes
As part of the leadership team of NSRCEL you will play an important role in influencing strategic decisions for the centre and will serve as a spokesperson for the organization
Requirements
You will ideally:
Be an MBA, CA or post-graduate from a Tier 1 institution with 12+ years of experience
Understand the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India, have a passion for the science of entrepreneurship
Be experienced in fund raising, business development and engagement management with Fortune 500 corporates, foundations, philanthropy and Government
Experience with grant management and regulatory frameworks
Have managed key account relationships at executive levels
Possess executive-level communication skills
Bring strong enterprise sales and marketing experience, financial acumen
Have a bias for action
Strong storytelling, proposal writing, and impact reporting skills
