Inventory Manager

Key Roles and Responsibility:

• Manage inventory levels to meet business demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies, including forecasting, replenishment, and optimization.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Analyse inventory data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, logistics, and sales, to align inventory management strategies with business objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, vendor communications, and purchasing activities.
• Provide regular reports and analysis to management on inventory levels, vendor performance, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies in inventory management and vendor relationship management.

Preferred Candidate profile:

• Any Bachelors degree.
• Proven experience in inventory management, vendor management, or procurement.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory control.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.
• Certification in inventory management or supply chain management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus
