QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer with a passion for both manual and automated testing. This role will involve working with a collaborative team to ensure high-quality software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software testing, with an eagerness to learn automation skills to support our QA efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute manual test cases to validate functionality, performance, and usability of software applications.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through a tracking system (e.g., JIRA).
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar.
Work closely with developers and senior QA engineers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and cases.
Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing as required.
Assist in maintaining and updating automation frameworks.
Document test results, track progress, and report issues to ensure product quality and readiness.
Participate in Agile meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning) to provide testing insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of manual testing processes, test case design, and defect tracking.
Exposure to at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and issue reporting.
