Technical Architect

As a Tech Architect, youll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust architectures for our large-scale products. This role requires a hands-on, innovative technologist with deep expertise across cutting-edge technologies and modern architecture patterns. You will be expected to write detailed technical specifications, mentor a dynamic team of developers, and ensure the highest standards of code quality and performance

Responsibilities

• Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions using the MERN Stack, Python, Blockchain, and distributed databases. Ensure the architecture meets performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Hands-On Development: Actively participate in coding and solution development, maintaining hands-on skills in Python and the MERN Stack. Implement key features and proof of concepts to drive the project forward.
• Tech Specifications: Write and oversee comprehensive technical documentation, including technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and data flow charts, to guide development and implementation.
• Mentorship: Mentor and guide developers in best coding practices, architecture principles, and technical problem-solving. Foster a learning environment and encourage technical growth across the team.
• Code Reviews: Conduct in-depth code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and performance optimization.
• Innovation and Evaluation: Stay updated on new technologies and emerging trends. Evaluate tools, frameworks, and solutions that could benefit the architecture and development processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, DevOps, and UX, to align architectural decisions with business goals and ensure seamless integration.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

• Backend: Proficiency in Python for backend logic and APIs.
• Frontend: Extensive experience with MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
• Blockchain: Experience with blockchain technology, with a focus on decentralized architectures and consensus mechanisms.
• Distributed Databases: Proficiency in distributed databases and architecture, experience with technologies like Yugabyte, CockroachDB, or similar.
• Cloud Technologies: Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with experience in architecting and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Graph Databases: Strong experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or Amazon Neptune.
• Streaming Databases: Familiarity with streaming databases like Apache Kafka, Confluent, or Redpanda for real-time data processing.
• In-Memory Databases: Experience with Redis for high-speed caching and database operations.

Architectural Experience: Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale, high-performance solutions. Familiarity with microservices, serverless, and event-driven architecture.

• Technical Documentation: Proficiency in writing clear and comprehensive technical specifications and architecture documents.
• Communication and Leadership: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas. Ability to lead by example, motivate a team, and provide constructive feedback.
• Agility and Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks. Hands-on attitude with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in an architectural role.
• Prior experience with product engineering, especially in a cloud-native environment.
