A ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operations Management) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support IT Operations Management processes. This role involves working closely with IT operations teams to understand their requirements, configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, and customize the platform to optimize IT service delivery and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with IT operations teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions within the ServiceNow ITOM framework.
Configure ServiceNow ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management to automate and streamline IT operations processes.
Develop custom applications, integrations, and workflows in ServiceNow to enhance IT operations capabilities and improve service delivery.
Perform system configurations, data imports, and user management tasks in ServiceNow to ensure smooth operation of ITOM processes.
Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of ServiceNow ITOM solutions to maintain optimal system performance and reliability.
Provide technical expertise and support to end users, administrators, and stakeholders on ServiceNow ITOM functionalities and best practices.
Stay updated on ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend enhancements and improvements to ITOM processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist IT Operations Management certification is preferred.
Proven experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions in enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of IT operations management processes and best practices.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.
Experience with integration technologies (REST, SOAP) and data transformation tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
