Job Description

We are hiring a senior software engineer to build our Privacy security products , the role is hybrid with at least 3 days in our Chennai office.

We require expereince in React/Typescript (JS) and AWS preferable.

What You Will Do in This Role

Responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and implementing software solutions using server-side technologies, and other open-source frameworks.
Identifies and suggests solutions to problems of significant scope, work independently and produce long-term broader solution across all scenarios.
Performs and is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing highly complex components in existing products and new offerings. Deliver high-quality features and products with faster turnaround.
Drive and contribute to technology evaluations for choosing the appropriate and relevant technology for solution development.
Demonstrate a sharp learning curve to understand new technologies, platforms, and applications.
Apply good design patterns and practices for designing and implementing solutions, widely used, and emerging in the industry.
Communicates clearly and effectively within the team and with other groups like QA, Support, and other product/engineering teams.
Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines. Self-motivated, team player, action and results-oriented, custom-centered.
Works with minimum or no supervision on development and related tasks.

What You ll Need to be Successful in this Role

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or equivalent engineering qualification and experience required.
5+ years of software development experience, specifically in Consumer based software development. Web Development experience for frontend, server-side, and backend applications.
3+ years of cloud developer experience, especially on AWS.
3+ years of development experience using Javascript, TypeScript, nodeJS, Vite, Tailwind CSS (or similar) and reactJs.
2+ Years of experience in no-SQL databases(DynamoDB / DocumentDB / MongoDB)
2+ Years of experience in developing RESTful enterprise services.
2+ years of experience with CI/CD using Jenkins/team city.
2+ years of experience in writing unit tests and automation tools like Cucumber.
Exposure to software design and development frameworks, including open-source frameworks.
Having product development experience in the Cybersecurity domain is a plus.
Having exposure to AI/ML and bigdata technologies is a plus.
Prior Experience in Working with Agile, a Plus.

Likes

Culture and the people you work with. Competitive and a learning environment. Tech stack is good and you get full responsibility and almost full control of everything. Though it is going to add a lot of challenge and more responsibility, you will enjoy having the knowledge and understanding end to end.

Dislikes

Work is never going to go as per plan. You work on something and the top management decides some infra changes with a very short deadline and everyone jumps up on it and on the middle something else comes up. End of the day you get a feel like nothing is 100% getting completed. Job security is the worst recently. Lot of reorg and lay off for no reason.
