Engineer Electrical Design

• Our ideal candidate for an Engineer Electrical Design should be well-versed in key areas: Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering.
• 4-8 years experience in Design/development (Magnetics) Working knowledge of IEC standards on Transformers-Inductors and associated requirements
• Working knowledge of design process/quality tools like DFMEA, DFM, PPAP Skills in field simulations (2D and 3D magnetic simulations) is added advantage
• Relevant experience in transformer or other power-related products
• Familiarity with transformer manufacturing processes and production
• Familiarity with the standards: EN ISO 15085, EN ISO 3834 is an added advantage

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Design LV/MV/HV Transformers, Inductors and Chokes, Current Transformer
  Technical discussion (presentation) with customers (on/off site) for drawing / type test
  approvals and specification finalization
  Drawing preparation & BOM creation meet
  Participate in NPD gate reviews, as needed
  Product cost optimization by redesign to cost / alternate materials
  Preparation and release of Production documents / design sheets for procurement &
  manufacturing
  Type testing at 3rd party labs for product validation and to ensure requirements
  Inter function coordination for smooth order execution, cost out, type test & validation
  Share experience and knowledge with other designers and different development sites
