Trainee - Finance & Accounts

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis:
• Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies in budgets and forecasts.
• Accounting Operations:
• Support the accounts team in day-to-day operations, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliation.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial planning.
• Audit and Compliance:
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Cost Management:
• Analyze operational costs and provide insights to optimize expenses.
• Participate in cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• ERP and Financial Tools:
• Learn and utilize financial software and ERP systems for reporting and data management.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks:
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
• Conduct research on financial trends and best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (MBA/CA/CPA preferred but not mandatory).
• Internship or prior experience in finance/accounting is an advantage but not required.
