NJ Group - Assistant Portfolio Manager (3-4 yrs)

- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Portfolio Manager to support our portfolio management team.

- This role is crucial for providing analytical support, conducting research, assisting with portfolio construction and monitoring, and preparing client reports.

- The Assistant Portfolio Manager will work closely with senior portfolio managers and will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the investment management field.

- This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial markets, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Investment Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, industries, and asset classes.

- Gather and analyze financial data, build financial models, and prepare investment recommendations.

- Portfolio Construction and Monitoring: Assist senior portfolio managers in constructing and monitoring investment portfolios.

- Analyze portfolio performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments to asset allocation and security selection.

- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and assess portfolio risk.

- Use spreadsheet software and other analytical tools to perform financial analysis.

- Data Management and Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze investment data.

- Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment strategies for internal and external clients.

- Client Communication: Assist in preparing client presentations and reports.

- Respond to client inquiries and provide updates on portfolio performance.

- Trade Execution Support: Provide support to traders in executing trades, including preparing trade orders and monitoring trade execution.

- Compliance and Regulatory Matters: Stay up-to-date on relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
