Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry), and financial modeling. The role requires a strategic mindset to support decision-making through financial insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute financial models at a consolidated subsidiary level to analyze past performance (plan vs actual) and create future projections for P&L, cash flow, and funding/borrowing movements.
• Prepare and analyze profitability across different dimensions such as product, category, channel, business segment, and company level; taking into account various variable considerations.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of daily flash reports, including sales, margins, expenses, and variance analysis.
• Conduct variance analysis on key financial indicators, including sales, marketing & business promotion expenses, distribution expenses, and other operational costs.
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and validation of capital and operational budgets.
• Work closely with various departments to provide insights on budget variances and cost-control recommendations.
• Support strategic and key management initiatives, ensuring timely execution.
• Analyze trends and key performance indicators to drive productivity improvements and identify anomalies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in MIS and/or FP&A, specifically in Factory MIS / Costing / Pricing.
• Industry Preference: Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of business processes, financial controls, and operational efficiency.
• Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and trend analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools).
• Experience working with SAP B1 and data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.
• Strong financial and business acumen with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
