About the Team
At Nium our global Compensation and Benefits team leads the design and execution of the companys global compensation, equity and benefits programs, ensuring they align with our growth and people strategies to attract, motivate and retain talent.Partnering with the broader People organisation we continuously research and stay informed about global market trends in employee compensation and benefits to support business growth and the delivery of scalable new solutions.Currently we have employees based in over 15 countries, with most of our workforce based in India, Malta, Singapore, UK and the US.
About the Role
As part of Nium s global Compensation Benefits team, you will be responsible for administering the policies and programs that align with our compensation and benefits philosophy and framework, ensuring we remain competitive and deliver equitable compensation structures. You will report into the Senior Director, Compensation Benefits Partner, and collaborate with Human Resources, Legal and Talent Acquisition teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate and implement compensation and benefits (CB) programs, policies, and procedures across multiple countries,ensuring all programs comply with statutory regulations.
Manage annual compensation cycle planning and execution including budgeting, communication, roll-out, implementation and change management.
Manage our stock management platform, Carta, and serve as the primary point of contact for all stock-related inquiries.
Participate in global compensation surveys and analyse resulting data to determine the competitive position for individual jobs. Research and develop salary ranges for different job families and countries where Nium operates.
Review existing benefits policy and design to ensure they are market relevant and develop new policies as needed. Monitor utilisation of benefits and prevent cost escalation.
Partner with talent acquisition, HRBPs, business leaders, and managers to educate them on Nium s rewards philosophy and programs, helping them make informed compensation decisions.
Partner with cross functional teams on payroll deliverables, including counter-approval as required.
Keep abreast with emerging trends and best practices and look for opportunities to incorporate them into the Nium s CB programs.
Requirements
5+ years relevant experience, with broad regional/global experience preferred
Strong analytical skills and ability to work well with metrics, numbers, and trends
Prior experience in compensation cycle management, with a deep understanding of compensation principles and market trends
Mix of startup and established company experience is preferred
