Job Description
Full Time Bachelor s Degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Language Skills Should be proficient in English and Hindi. Computer Skills Should be proficient in the use of Excel and Power Point. Essential Qualifications CFPS from NFPA or Level 3 certification from IFE, UK B.Tech. in Safety and Fire Engineering from CUSAT or UPES NEBOSH IGC/ FSC or IDIP or equivalent. Good knowledge of NBC 2016 and NFPA requirements. Knowledge of National and State legal requirements. Desirable Qualifications Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety. / Lead/ Internal Auditor for ISO 45001/ 14001/ 9001 In brief the typical roles and responsibilities include:
- 3+ yrs of industrial experience which should include design, installation, testing, commissioning and auditing of firefighting systems across various industries.
- Should have worked as a pure Fire and Life Safety professional with following experience:
- Design of Fire and Life Safety systems including Active and Passive Systems
- Interpreting the requirements of NBC 2016 and incorporating it into the design.
- Reviewing MEP (fire) design drawings with respect to national and state legislations.
- Conducing Fire risk assessments.
- Conducing Fire and Life Safety Audits
- Creating FLS design scope of work in consultation with the senior manager FLS.
- Creating project plan and allocation of resources for multi-site and complex audit and study projects.
- Attending the weekly review meetings and presenting to the management the progress of various projects.
- Ensuring the weekly and monthly project progress reports are made and regularly updated.
