Job Description
- Allocation of daily work load to the shop floor team and ensuring optimum .utilization of available sources.
- On daily basis, co-ordination with planning, Purchase, QA & Stores for Project execution on time.
- Effective, Preventive & Breakdown maintenance of all equipment, achieving Highest Machine availability .
- Controlling of leaves, overtime, late coming & absenteeism of production team.
- Authorizing requisition of material and depositing the finished components in stores.
- Maintaining records of - Monthly MIS Reports, M/C history cards, daily production details, Delivery performance of each project, Inter-stage Quality checks, IMS Documents, FAT area Log-sheet, Scrap Generation, Non Conformity& Re-works, Production related expenses, Accident & Injury Register, Objectives & Target, KRAs, etc
- Punching production related data into (ERP) .
- Continuous improvements on shop floor and eliminating / minimizing Non-Productive activities on shop floor, so that overall Productivity is improved.
- Fulfilling requirements of IMS clauses, as well as applicable statutory & legal requirements.
- Updating self knowledge regarding various applicable codes & standards and implement the same for improving quality benchmark of our products.
- Visiting Vendors / Raw materials suppliers for inspection & record.
- Understanding & promoting SKID -FAT concept.
- Any other task & assignments as and when instructed by superiors
- Planning proper equipment maintenance.
- Effective utilization of available resources.
- To maintain highest level of quality for each and every fabricated item
