Background:
- Extensive Software Industry Experience: Over 10-15 years in the software industry, with a balanced mix of coding, design, and leadership in engineering teams, processes, strategy, and innovation. At least 5 years in a management/leadership role.
- Expert in Large-Scale, Distributed Multi-Cloud Solutions: Hands-on experience in software engineering for large-scale, distributed multi-cloud environments, including deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Enterprise Software and Cloud Architecture Expertise: In-depth understanding of enterprise software, distributed cloud software architecture, SaaS, and distributed applications development. Proficient with virtualization platforms, cloud, networking, and security technologies. Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenStack.
- IT/Cloud Operations Management: Experienced in scaling products to enterprise levels and operating at cloud scale in global multi-tenant deployments. Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL and IT4IT is advantageous.
- Proven Software Development Success: A history of conceptualizing, building, and delivering commercial software, including Cloud and SaaS products, that customers love.
- Project and Team Management: Skilled in managing large-scale software development projects and distributed teams, consistently delivering high-quality products on time and within budget. Experienced in supporting global teams across multiple time zones.
