If you are an Engineering professional, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for Manager Proposals who will be responsible for the development and management of proposals in response to end-user specification/needs and in supporting SYSS/ETS Software (ESI) Sales with qualifying/clarifying ESI solution offerings to Customer/End User(s) within the MEA Region. They will also Responsible for supporting the regional sales team in marketing and technical presentations of ETS Software ( ESI) solutions to Customer/End User(s).
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
The Sales Support Manager ETS Software (ESI) - MEA Region will be responsible for supporting sales growth and profitability for Systems and Software across the Middle East and Africa for midstream and downstream market segments.
This role will be responsible for the development and timely delivery of quality ESI solution sales proposals to drive above-market growth, propose solution and product portfolio improvements and onward development of training/tools to help drive engagement and focus across the MEA sales organization.
This position will work closely with the regional ETS sales team to implement new strategies, provide technical and application expertise to cultivate the overall sales growth plan. The individual will be required to demonstrate the entire ESI portfolio.
It is also important that the person works closely with other Emerson Businesses personnel in order to support growth of the overall Emerson MEA business.
Actively work with MEA regional sales leadership along with sales/operations teams to develop ESI solution proposals in order to increase sales with profitable project wins.
Adherence to National Oil Company /International Oil Company RFQ processes and procedures, understand their deadlines , commitments , formats , letters, deviations , etc. Can independently interpret RFQs , draft TQs and Clarification in coordination with MEA business and technical consultants located in various Emerson offices.
Work with regional sales leadership to identify, qualify and develop sales pursuits incl strategic accounts in order to expand the opportunity funnel.
Collaborate with MEA BCC proposal and sales teams in the development of customer quotes with multi-BU Emerson content
Help arrange and where necessary attend customer meetings, provide solution demonstrations within the regional territory.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Engineering degree or equivalent experience or equivalent with 10+ years or more experience in the business and a proven record in sales/proposals in Oil & Gas domain area. A previous experience in Proposal / Bidding & Tendering / Sales Support Department of an Oil and Gas Technology/ Service structured company
Educated to Degree level in an engineering field, with proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry Previous experience in Oil & Gas Software (Enterprise level preferred, else IT-OT, SCADA, RTU ,DCS ), with a successful track record in c-suite discussion and consultative selling of technical solution. Technical understanding of SCADA/DCS Interfaces and protocols. Identify possible improvements to the sales and project execution processes. Able to work with Multiple teams based in different locations (time zones) Proficient in English Verbal and written communication skills proficient in English
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Familiarity with interpretation of P&IDs for Pipeline Networks. Sales techniques courses (SPI, etc.)
