SAP ABAP Developer - Fiori Module (5-12 yrs)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Develop, configure, implement and support SAP's solutions.

- Debug and implement enhancements in existing applications.

- Working knowledge on cross applications like EDI/ IDOCS.

- Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions

- Participate as a high-level technical expert in design, development, coding, documenting, testing and debugging existing or new applications.

- Create prototypes and mock-ups.

- Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.

- Resolve customer issues.

- Participate in estimation and project planning.

- Report assigned tasks periodically to supervisor.

- Periodic project management meetings.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS : (Overall experience and years of experience in particular skill)

- Educational attainment equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

- Familiarity with Module pool, UI5/Fiori, Smart Forms, BADI's, BAPI's & User Exits

- Knowledge of EDI & Business Intelligence tools are a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :

- Considerable knowledge and understanding of SAP development technologies such as ABAP & SQL and front-end technologies like HTML5 & JavaScript (5 years)

- Strong object orientation experience

- SAP Fiori development experience is required (1 year)

- Gateway development

- Strong communication skills

- Considerable knowledge of business and manufacturing applications and system requirements

- Knowledge of systems analysis and design

- Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications.

- Ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions.

- Ability to evaluate project requests, provide solutions with time estimates, and follow through and complete projects accurately and on a timely basis.

- Ability to work independently and as a team member in completing assignments.

- SAP Certifications is a big plus

- CPI-DS, RTI, JITTERBIT development, integration and monitoring knowledge will have added advantag
