Staff Engineer,

Job Description.

Design and code scalable, high-traffic services.

Define, implement, and maintain a common technology platform.

Enable secure and high-availability solutions in a SaaS environment.

Collaborate with internal teams, engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to plan, scope, design, refine, and understand software applications and requirements.

Work with the Product Management team to develop solutions that delight our customers.

Participate in peer design and code reviews.

Design, develop, consume, and maintain well-defined development standards and APIs.

Maintain, modify, and assume responsibility for ongoing architectural improvements.

Product automated tests for developed software with reasonable test cases (includes unit, regression, and integration tests where applicable).

Performance Tuning for integration APIs.

Participate in broad architectural reviews.

Work as part of a scrum team to develop new features for patients and practices.

Create and utilize automated unit tests to ensure the quality of code.

Mentor, coach, and develop the talents of more junior engineers.

Research and proof-of-concept work with new technologies.

Provide estimates and technical feasibility guidance on prospective work.

Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
