Job Title: Associate - Charge Entry Department

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Associate to join our Charge Entry Department. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in charge entry and a strong understanding of medical billing processes. The Associate will be responsible for accurately entering charges into the system, ensuring compliance with billing regulations, and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Accurately enter charges into the billing system

- Review and verify all charge information for accuracy and completeness

- Ensure compliance with billing regulations and guidelines

- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to charge entry

- Communicate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing information

- Assist with training new team members on charge entry processes

- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all charge entry activities

Qualifications:

- 1-2 years of experience in charge entry or a related field

- Strong understanding of medical billing processes and regulations

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software

- High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree preferred

Job Title: Associate Payment Posting

Years of Experience: 12 years

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Mode of interview: In-person.

Mode of operation: Work from office

Shift Timings: 9:00 a.m.6:00 p.m.

Functional Expertise:

1. Should be able to post ERAs and Manual posting, patient-cash, check and CC payments.
2. Should have strong understanding of medical billing terms, such as co-pays, coinsurances, deductibles allowable amount, contractual adjustments, out-of network and in-network processing, retractions/recoupments, capitation payments, Collection agency payments, MVA and WC payments, Correspondence and Zero claims.
3. Should be able to access websites to retrieve, process and upload the EOBs.
4. Should be able to identify line item denials for non-covered services, inclusive services, credentialing, medical necessity, non-par, no-auth denials, COB Denials and associated denial reason codes.
5. Medicare claims processing-sequestration, interest payment, reporting codes, Modifiers
6. Should be able to understand Payer specific guidelines, process secondary and Tertiary claims and patient statements. Process Insurance and patient refunds.
7. Should be capable of interpreting and processing the EOBs, research, correct and re-file denied claims.
8. Reconciliation and balancing the payment batches.

Operational Duties:

1. Comply to daily productivity and Accuracy standards.
2. Submit daily production reports to team lead.
3. Stay in constant communication with team lead /operations manager
4. Professional & behavior is expected
5. Receive feedback from QA on errors and follow updated protocol.

Additional Comments

Should hold any Degree. Having NextGen Application knowledge is advantage. Preferred Immediate joiner.
