Job Title : Lead Engineer - Microservices (Java, Spring Boot, GCP, Python)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a Lead Engineer - Microservices & Security with 4 to 6 years of experience to drive the design, development, and security of scalable microservices architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role emphasizes deep cloud integrations, where you will with other engineers and oversee architectural strategy, security, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop secure, scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and GCP, with a focus on performance

- Lead cloud-native integrations using GCP services, ensuring seamless functionality with our core product.

- Optimize and scale microservices using GCP services such as GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.

- Provide technical leadership and manage a team, ensuring high-quality code delivery through GitHub PR processes and CI/CD pipelines.

- Define and drive the architectural strategy, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability of the microservices infrastructure.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into microservices design and ensure compliance.

- Utilize Python and Flask to support broader system integration and backend services where necessary.

Key Qualifications :

- 4 to 6 years of experience in microservices architecture development using Java, Spring Boot, and GCP.

- Strong expertise in GCP, particularly in services such as GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.

- Proficiency in Python and Flask for backend development and system integration when needed.

- Experience leading teams and driving technical execution, including code quality and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience with secure coding practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with GCP security tools, including Google Security Command Center (SCC).

- Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.

- Knowledge of optimizing GCP-based microservices for performance and scalability
