Job Description
- As a Senior Staff Engineer specializing in SoC (System-on-Chip) Design Verification, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and quality of complex integrated circuits and semiconductor devices
- You will lead and drive the verification process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate the design and identify and resolve any issues or bugs
- Responsibilities:Develop and implement verification strategies and methodologies for complex SoC designs, ensuring comprehensive testing and validation of all functional components
- Lead the verification planning, including defining verification goals, test objectives, and coverage metrics
- Create and execute verification test plans, testbenches, and test cases to validate the functionality and performance of the SoC design
- Conduct functional and performance simulations, analyze results, and debug issues to identify and resolve design flaws or bugs
- Collaborate with design engineers to review specifications, influence design decisions, and ensure proper implementation of verification strategies
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support in verification methodologies and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, architecture, and firmware teams, to ensure seamless integration and functional verification of the SoC
- Develop and maintain verification environment infrastructure, including testbenches, assertions, and verification IP
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and methodologies in SoC design verification, and propose and implement improvements to enhance the verification process
- Document verification plans, methodologies, and results, and present findings to stakeholders and management
