About the Job :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in TOSCA to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software development lifecycle through the design, development, and execution of automated test suites. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of automation frameworks, digital and mobile application testing, and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities :

Test Automation Framework Development and Maintenance :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks using TOSCA.

- Implement best practices for test automation, ensuring maintainability, reusability, and efficiency.

- Continuously improve and optimize existing automation frameworks.

Test Script Development and Execution :

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for digital applications, mobile applications, and APIs.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using TOSCA.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on defects and issues.

Digital and Mobile Application Testing :

- Conduct thorough testing of digital and mobile applications across various platforms and devices.

- Ensure seamless user experience and functionality across different environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues related to digital and mobile applications.

API Testing :

- Perform API testing using Postman to validate API functionality, performance, and security.

- Develop and execute automated API test scripts.

- Analyze API test results and identify defects.

CI/CD Integration :

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Ensure seamless execution of automated tests as part of the build and deployment process.

- Work with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD workflows.

Test Management and Reporting :

- Utilize QTest and Jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.

- Generate comprehensive test reports and metrics to track test progress and quality.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing activities and results.

Agile QA Methodologies :

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. -

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile QA processes.

Client Communication :

- Effectively communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on testing activities.

- Present test results and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner.

- Build strong relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction.

Cloud Environment Testing :

- Testing applications and infrastructure residing in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Understanding of cloud based deployment models.

Key Requirements :

- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in automation testing.

Mandatory :

- Proven expertise in TOSCA automation tool.

- Strong experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience in testing digital applications and mobile applications.

- Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with test management tools like QTest and defect tracking tools like Jira.

- Solid understanding of Agile QA methodologies.

- Working knowledge of API testing using Postman.

- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem solving skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).

- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.

- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Javascript.
