About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Java Developer with 3-6 years of hands-on experience to contribute to the development and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in core Java concepts and a passion for building robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality web applications using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Develop and maintain well-documented and reusable code.

- Troubleshoot and debug application issues effectively.

- Collaborate effectively within an agile development team.

- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and industry best practices.

- Experience with Liferay Portal is a significant plus.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java : Core Java fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Java EE, and Spring Framework.

- Front-end Technologies : JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX.

- RESTful API Development : Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Database Technologies : Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g, MySQL, Oracle).

- Version Control : Strong understanding of Git or other version control systems.

- Problem-solving and analytical skills : Ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills : Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with Liferay Portal development and customization.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
