Role & responsibilities

• Install and configure Linux servers (SUSE/Oracle), VMware, and IBM storage systems.
• Set up system networking, DNS, and VPN solutions for secure remote access.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Administer IBM Storage (SAN/NAS), ensuring data integrity through backups.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies on Linux.
• Configure VPN access and manage remote user security.
• Deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs) on VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Configure Cisco firewalls and security protocols (VPN, IDS/IPS).
• Perform regular source code backups using version control systems like Git.
• Manage and maintain 75 Windows 11 desktop machines, performing routine updates and troubleshooting.
• Maintain Windows Server domain and Active Directory for user and resource management.
• Regularly update and patch Linux systems, VMs, and storage devices.
• Monitor logs, disk usage, and system performance proactively.
• Implement backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and source code backups.
• Perform internet leased line maintenance, ensuring optimal connectivity and troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain and monitor Battery Backups & Online UPS for system reliability and power protection.
• Capable to automate the scheduler tasks with scripting languages.
• Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.
• Collaborate with teams for infrastructure solutions and troubleshooting.
• Provide support for system-related issues to end-users and internal teams.
