Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on the chemical sector and a strong network in industries such as paints, automotive, and industrial chemicals. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, and achieving sales targets within the specified geographic regions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and target new business opportunities in the chemical sales sector, focusing on industries such as Automotive, Paint, and Chemical Manufacturing.
    • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target companies like Thermax, Baer, Akzonobel, Chemetall, and others.
    • Develop a strategic sales plan to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Sales Performance and Target Achievement:
    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to close sales deals.
    • Follow-up on leads, provide timely quotations, and manage the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure excellent post-sales service and customer satisfaction, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
    • Address customer queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer information, and market intelligence.
    • Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
    • Use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to track performance and prepare sales presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in the chemical industry or related sectors (automotive, paints, industrial chemicals).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any stream; preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales background with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred:
    • Previous experience in dealing with companies such as Thermax, Baer, AkzoNobel, Chemical, etc.
    • Vehicle for field visits preferred.

Location and Travel:

  • This role requires frequent travel across the designated regions (New Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat) to meet clients and develop business.
  • A personal vehicle for travel is preferred.
