We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead the sales function for NEP India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting sales targets, developing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong customer relationships in the Outside Broadcast (OB) industry.
The candidate will possess deep relationships with key stakeholders in sports broadcasting, including broadcasters, OTTs, sports production companies, sports leagues/federations, etc. and will have a deep interest and understanding of the business.
The candidate will be required to work with various stakeholders and departments in the Indian business unit and the other members of the regional team. This position will report directly to the Business Head, NEP India.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the sales function to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Handle end-to-end sales and new business development from demand generation to fulfilment.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand NEP s customer base and market presence both within and outside the sports broadcasting business.
Making customer presentations for company s products and services, which includes working with local and regional teams to create techno-commercial proposals.
Coordinate various proposal activities and lead commercial negotiations with clients to successful closure.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing customised solutions.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
Identify emerging markets, trends, and market shifts, and stay informed about new products and competitors.
Identify new revenue opportunities in NEP s current line of business and for new products and services.
Interact with industry networks and other industry forums for networking and business development opportunities.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales target
10-15 years experience in sports broadcasting, sports production, or technical sales
A strong understanding of the OB or sports production business is essential. Technical knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
Previous experience in sales in the Outside Broadcast (OB) or broadcast engineering industry is a plus
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
Bachelors degree in any field; Masters degree desirable
