SAP SD Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

SAP SD Module Configuration and Implementation:

Lead the configuration, customization, and implementation of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.

Understand and analyze business processes, and translate business requirements into SAP SD solutions.

Configure and maintain SD processes such as Sales Order Management, Shipping, Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Availability Check.

Implement and test solutions for integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP FICO, SAP WM).

Business Process Analysis and Solution Design:

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements.

Conduct workshops and requirement gathering sessions with business users to map existing processes and define the future SAP SD solution.

Design SAP SD solutions that meet business needs while ensuring process efficiency and system integrity.

System Integration and Data Management:

Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (such as MM, FICO, and WM) to enable end-to-end process flow.

Work with technical teams to support interfaces with external systems (e.g., e-commerce platforms, third-party logistics, CRM).

Assist with data migration, ensuring that master data (customers, material master, pricing conditions) is accurately transferred into the system.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Lead or support the testing of SAP SD configurations, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Develop test cases and coordinate testing efforts with business users to validate the solution before go-live.

Provide solutions to any identified defects or issues during the testing phase.

End-User Support and Training:

Provide training to end users on SAP SD processes and best practices to ensure effective adoption and utilization of the system.

Offer post-implementation support to resolve issues, perform system tuning, and provide system updates.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and process documentation.
