Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality management strategies and initiatives for procurement and purchasing processes.
Establish quality standards and procedures for vendor selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of procurement activities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, supply chain, quality assurance, and finance, to address quality issues and drive corrective actions.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and develop action plans to address any deficiencies or non-conformances.
Provide training and guidance to procurement and purchasing teams on quality management principles and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and quality management.
Serve as a subject matter expert on quality-related matters during vendor negotiations and contract discussions.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of quality excellence and collaboration.
