Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Developer - Unit testing - Gtest at NEOTECH Solutions in Hyderabad. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to software development, programming, and communication. Responsibilities may include writing Unit test Cases using Google test in Infotainment Domain with Android Build Environment, and collaborating with teams to deliver projects successfully.

Job description: Primary Skills

▪ Proven experience in White box Testing (e.g; Unit Testing, Integration testing or etc) on Latest Versions of Android Platform.

▪ Proficiency in C, C++ Programming, and scripting (python or bash).

▪ Strong Knowledge and experience on Android or Linux Build environment, Android Architecture, Android IPC Communication (AIDL), Unit Testing Frameworks, GTest, GMock (Stubs, Mocks and etc), Test Suites (VTS, ATS and etc).

▪ Exposure to CI/ CD environment and tools like Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI etc.

▪ Strong Analytical and debugging Skills to identify source code gaps through test case development.

▪ Good knowledge on using Code Coverage tools (LCov/ GCOV, llvm and etc).

Secondary Skills

▪ Effective communication skills, problem solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative.

▪ Experience in working with Agile scrum methodology

Responsibilities

▪ Develop and maintain unit test cases for Android Middleware, Native and HAL.

▪ Automate Testing Process to ensure scalability and repeatability of tests.

▪ Review and Analysis of Test Reports and Coverage Reports.

▪ Contribute to CI/ CD pipelines by integrating Automated Unit Tests.

▪ Suggesting best practices in Unit Testing using latest tools and frameworks for

Android Testing and Automation of Test development.
