Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Bangalore for one of the Top Banks in UAE
  • As a data scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical models and solutions to drive business insights and enhance decision-making processes
  • You should have a solid background in statistical analysis, data science, and machine learning along with strong programming skills and a deep understanding of business objectives
  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and engineers, to understand requirements, and develop data-driven solutions
  • Apply statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods to develop predictive and prescriptive models
  • Evaluate model performance, iterate on improvements, and optimize models for scalability and efficiency
  • Identify relevant features and variables that can enhance model performance and contribute to business goals
  • Play an integral role in data preparation and data wrangling for exploratory data analysis and development and deployment of AI solutions
  • Gather, engineer, and prepare data for stakeholders to enable smarter decision making
  • Use a broad set of data curation and analytical tools and techniques to enable development of quantitative and qualitative business insights communicate complex analytical findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through effective data visualizations, reports, and presentations
  • Knowledge Experience:
  • Mandatory
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar discipline
  • 2 4 yearsexperience in data science in a reputed analytics consulting company
  • Proficiency in using Python for Data wrangling, feature engineering and modelling
  • Experience in translating non-trivial business requirements into data science solution, developing statistical models, and presenting outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, frameworks and tools and experience applying them to banking-related problems
  • Strong team player who is flexible and creative, learning and delivering in different technologies
  • Ability to learn and deliver with minimal oversight and work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Desirable
  • Experience working for a Banking or Fintech in lending/customer analytics
  • Experience working with Azure Databricks
  • Familiarity with SQL and knowledge of data modelling
  • Excellent communication skills
