Head - Resources - Fund Raising

Job Responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy & Execution:

• Develop and implement a strategic approach to raise debt from Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions through various instruments in alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyse and assess financial market trends to optimize the timing and terms of debt issuance, ensuring effective and competitive fundraising.

2. Lender Negotiations:

• Lead negotiations with lenders to finalize terms that align with the organizations financial goals and market best practices.
• Cultivate and leverage strong relationships with Lenders to secure favorable lending rates and conditions.

3. Borrowing Management:

• Act as the custodian of all borrowing activities across the organization, ensuring compliance, accuracy and alignment with corporate policies.
• Track and monitor borrowing covenants closely, ensuring compliance and proactively managing any risks to avoid covenant breaches.

4. Banking Line Renewals:

• Manage the renewal of banking lines and other credit facilities to maintain access to necessary funds for operational and strategic needs.
• Liaise with lenders to facilitate seamless renewals and adapt to changing credit needs and market conditions.

5. Cash Operations Management:

• Oversee the organizations cash operations, ensuring smooth fund transfers and efficient cash management across Group companies.
• Coordinate with finance teams to manage ICDs and inter-company cash flows, ensuring liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Monitoring ALM for the Group

6. Banking Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary custodian of banking relationships, fostering strong, strategic partnerships with financial institutions.
• Maintain open communication with bankers, ensuring strong, long-term partnerships that support the organizations financial strategy.

Preferred Skills:

• Banking Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate and sustain robust relationships with bankers and financial institutions to support debt and capital needs.
• Negotiation & Persuasion: Skilled in negotiating and finalizing favourable terms with lenders and other financial stakeholders.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements related to debt fundraising, capital structuring, and inter-company transactions.
• Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess financial markets, manage covenants, and align debt-raising strategies with organizational objectives.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing borrowing activities, tracking covenants, and ensuring compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with senior stakeholders, including business heads and financial institutions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Power Point. Knowledge of Advanced Excel and Macros is an added advantage.
