Neoscript - .Net Developer - C#/ASP (8-10 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer Lead with a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and AWS, and hands-on experience in migrating .NET applications from Azure to AWS.

As a Lead Developer, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are completed on time while meeting quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the latest .NET technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy web-based applications and services using the Microsoft .NET platform (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, etc.).

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and create detailed project plans.

- Oversee code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.

- Lead efforts in migrating existing .NET applications from Microsoft Azure to AWS environments, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition.

- Ensure cloud-based solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

- Solve complex technical problems and provide high-level technical guidance to team members.

- Ensure the software development process follows Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET frameworks and tools, implementing innovative technologies and methodologies as appropriate.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end logic with UI elements and improve the overall user experience.

- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications in cloud environments.

- Monitor project progress and performance, addressing bottlenecks, bugs, and technical issues as they arise.

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong expertise in the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core, MVC, C#, Entity Framework, LINQ, and Web API.

- Experience in cloud technologies, with a strong focus on both Microsoft Azure and AWS.

- Proven experience in migrating .NET applications from Azure to AWS, including re-architecting and re-hosting strategies.

- Strong knowledge of cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation and Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, Azure SQL.

- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with database design and management, particularly with SQL Server or similar relational databases.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control (e.g., Git), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with DevOps practices, including automated testing, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools on both Azure and AWS.

- Knowledge of cloud migration best practices, including cloud cost optimization and performance tuning in AWS environments.

- Knowledge of security best practices and standards (e.g., OAuth, OWASP) in cloud-based solutions.

- Familiarity with non-relational databases like MongoDB.

- Familiarity with relational databases like MS SQL Server, MySQL, RDS.

- Experience in implementing and managing cloud-native applications using serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
