Plant Supervisor

Role & responsibilities

1. Good Knowledge about ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD
2. Need to be physically fit and mentally alert
3. Accept tasks allotted by higher offices and complete these without any further guidance as also have own initiative to find, assign and supervise tasks to his own subordinates to achieve goals assigned to him by the organization.
4. Should draw an Analysis Program for collection and analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly samples and follow it and report results as per time schedule thus agreed upon.
5. Draw out program to undertake performance studies from time to time and have it approved from the higher offices through his plant manager before execution.
6. Be bold to report deficiencies in treatment as shown by effluent quality analyzed at the Laboratory
7. To look after preparation of laboratory chemicals, use of laboratory instruments, collection and preservation of water / wastewater samples and analysis for various environmental parameters such as pH, TSS, BOD, COD, TDS etc.
8. Maintain site assets and optimize equipment life cycle.
9. Responsible for smooth operation of ETP & ZLD units and maintaining of daily log sheets.
10. Executing and performing the tasks following the safety standards as per assigned by Plant in charge and send emergency responses to plant in charge.
11. Operating the unit process and performing backwash/ rinse/ CIP after every cycle as mentioned in the standard operating procedure or as instructed by plant in charge.
12. Reporting to plant in charge in case of any emergency requirement is there and updating chemical and consumables stock records to plant in charge.
13. Preparation of chemicals as per the standard operating procedures.
14. Attend training from plant in charge in a safety manner which belongs to JSWSCPL safety standards/ guidelines.

Preferred candidate profile

• having a strong knowlegde in ETP, STP, WTP, ZLD
• Require only Male Candidate
• Education Require B.SC,M.SC & B.E (Chemical , Chemistry, Environmental Science)
