Automation Developer

Responsibilities (Automation Developer ODC)

- Develop scripts, applications, APIs that adhere to standard software development methodologies (documentation, code reviews, unit testing etc.).

- Develop and enhance product features that provide automation, fault detection, recovery, diagnostics, system monitoring, telemetry, dashboard, and reporting.

- Develop and manage well-functioning systems, databases, and applications.

- Implement software integrations between systems and applications both client and server-side.

- Write technical documentation.

- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a software related discipline.

- At least 3 to 5 years of working experience.

- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in backend and web application developments (Linux, Web-Service API, Python, Microsoft PowerApps, Microsoft PowerBI, Java Script, Node JS, CSS3, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL, PostgreSQL DB etc.).

- Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies (Scrum, DevOps, CI/CD).

- Good understanding with automation, containerisation, and orchestration using tools such as GitHub, Ansible, Chef, Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, Kubernetes, Jira etc.

- Certification in Linux, Java, ITIL and relevant programming languages, etc. would be an added advantage.

- Strong organizational and task management skills.

- Good in English communication, both verbal and written.
