Software Engineer IV - C++

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend and Frontend Software Engineers to join our dynamic team.   The team, 10x Platform,” are senior engineers, usually with a decade of experience, that can fix problems and launch new products.  Essentially, a group with a startup mentality inside the larger corporation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend or frontend systems. You will work closely with 10x developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The 10x team is improving the flow of payments data, improving the real-time observability of commerce to our clients, and breaking out integral parts of legacy software into reusable stand alone products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• If a front-end developer, to integrate user-facing elements.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Ensure security and data protection protocols are implemented.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ YEARS of Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as C++ programming
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
