Educational requirements:
Graduate in any stream with 1-2 years of experience in front desk or customer service roles.
Skills:

  • Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Role: Sr. Legal Manager JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Drafting and vetting of documents including agreements and ancilliary documents related to all type Real estate transactions such as acquisitions, sales, leasing, etc. Review and provide legal advice on tender/contract documents.
  • Review on going cases and advice management accordingly.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.

Carry out due diligences of existing documents like Sales deed, contracts tender documents, non-disclosure agreements, tri-partite agreements etc and provide legal expertise to ensure that the documents are legally correct and that the companys interests are protected. Proactively implement framework to mitigate legal risk"
Handling litigations including customer disputes, claims, formulating replies to legal notices, coordinate with external lawyers, briefing of advocates and counsels while.
Management of the MIS for all litigation and non-litigation worked assigned to legal dept.
Supervise the application / registration of Trademarks, Patenting, Copyrights, etc
Negotiate with Solicitors Firms for commercials terms of appointment. Ensure effective cost control through hard negotiations. Participate in effective management of the departmental budgets to ensure that cost is with the approved budget and the negotiated commercials are beneficial to the organizational interest
Drafting and negotiating simple and complex contracts
Represent the department as required for liaison with various statutory approvals, clearances and compliances
To pro-actively create and maintain awareness of business employees for (compliance with)relevant laws and regulations.
Ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
Desired Candidate:
Knowledge of Real Estate, Corporate Real Estate, Compliance, Licensing, and state-specific regulations in real estate
Minimum 10years of legal experience
Ability to multitask, excellent efficiency, ability to work under a deadline, ability to adapt quickly to changing business plans, good writing skills, and a demonstrable ability to hold attention when speaking
RERA, ORERA, BDA, Contract law, Company Law, Real Estate State and National law and sound legal background is preferred, as the right candidate would need to hit the ground running on listed job duties with minimal training/oversight needed
Preferred experience with actively transacting on real estate while facilitating deals for clients
Strong understanding of the Real Estate industry at national and state levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent drafting, communication and negotiation skills
Should be abreast with the latest legal developments and rulings, especially in real estate sector.
